I had the privilege of taking part in Baltimore City Fire Department’s Camp Spark which is a Fire Service Empowerment Camp that offers opportunities within the #2ndDistrict for girls ages 12 to 16. From completing EMS drills to learning life-saving skills, these participants found their SPARK (Smart. Powerful. Assertive. Respectful. Kind)! Awesome to see these girls graduate from the program and have the opportunity to share the importance of being courageous and being yourself.
