The Baltimore City Fire Department hosted it’s second “Camp Spark” – a Fire Service Empowerment Camp for Girls in the 2nd District at the BCFD Training Academy. The FREE two-day camp exposed girls aged 12-16 to career opportunities within the fire service.
Campers had the opportunity to participate in real-world firefighting experiences, focus on team-building, engage in hands-on Fire/EMS simulations and much more. There were also opportunities to speak one-on-one with fire department members about their experiences and career preparation.
